5 DAYS RUAHA SAFARI FROM ZANZIBAR
Ruaha is Tanzania’s largest national park and offers excellent wildlife viewing. It is particularly good for spotting predators, including very large lions and the endangered wild dog. Elephants and a big variety of antelope species are another big draw to the park. It also has outstanding wilderness appeal, with limited exclusive, luxury camps available.
DAY 1
First ferry from Zanzibar depart 07:00 am, meet & greet in Dar Es Salaam at 08:30 am and drive to Iringa & check-in at the lodge and Overnight Iringa Sunset Lodge  (Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 2
Full day safari in Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park for a first game drive and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. All meals included.
DAY 3-4
Full day game drive in Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, full days of game driving at Ruaha National Park, with picnic lunches. Ruaha has an area of 10,300 sq km, and is the second largest park, and second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania.
The great Ruaha River that flows along its entire eastern border creates spectacular gorges and scenery, and features a large number of hippos and crocodiles. The wide variety of animals that inhabit the park include both Greater and Lesser Kudu, roan and sable antelope. Bird life is also rich, with over 370 species recorded. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. All meals included.
DAY 5
Transfer to Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, transfer to Dar Es Salaam with a picnic lunch.
