12 Days Selous Mikumi Zanzibar
This Southern circuit safari to Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park and Zanzibar
Day 1: Arrival Julius Nyerere International Airport at 22:20HR
You will be met at the airport at Dar es Salaam by your driver/guide and our representative. We will take you to the CBD Hotel for overnight
Day 2: Drive from Dar Es Salaam - Selous Game Reserve
Pick up 08:0 am at the hotel, and drive to the Selous Game Reserve (4-5 hrs).
You will take part in an afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Where you can see plenty of hippos, crocodiles and bird life. Overnight at the Selous Tented Camp All meals included.
Day 3: Walking Safari & Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve
You will participate in walking safaris, game drives private in Selous Game Reserve and boating safaris, Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, with an area of 54.600kms – bigger than Denmark and 4 times the size of Serengeti!.
Selous has the world’s largest number of large game animals – elephant, buffalo, and rhino. It also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard and lion, not to mention over 350 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the Selous Tented Camp. All meals included.
Day 4: Full day in Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast set off by 4×4 on game drive across the Selous Game Reserve with picnic lunch then dinner and overnight at Sable Mountain Lodge. All meals included.
Day 5: Morning visit Maasai Village & Drive from Selous - Mikumi
In the morning you will visit Maasai Village in Kisaki Village and later depart to Mikumi National Park while crossing through Northern Selous.Overnight in Camp Bastian Lodge
Day 6: Mikumi National Park
Full day of game drives in the Mikumi National Park Overnight in Camp Bastian Lodge
Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope.
Day 7: Flight from Mikumi to Zanzibar depart 14:15, arrive 16:15 North Coast (Nungwi)
Morning game drive in Mikumi National Park – later transfer to Mikumi airstrip for the flight to Zanzibar depart 14:15, arrive 16:15. Clients will be arriving happily at Zanzibar Airport meet & greet and have Private road transferred to Nungwi. welcome drink check in & Start swimming pool and leisure day & overnight The Zanzibari Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 8: Free Day to Relax
After a very delicious breakfast you shall have very free & typical leisure days at your beach resort.

Day 9: Transfer to East Coast - Jambiani Beach
After a very delicious breakfast, transfer to Nungwi Beach and overnight Fun Beach Hotel (Bed &

After a very delicious breakfast you shall have very free & typical leisure days at your beach resort.

Day 11: Transfer to Stone Town - afternoon city tour
fter a very delicious breakfast, then transfer to stone town. In the afternoon starts the Stone town Tour which includes viewing and visiting Most historical sites in the stone town of Zanzibar. including The Old Slave Market, Zanzibar town Market, Peoples Palace , Old Dispensary , House of Wonders , Palace Museum and Old custom House ,Old arab fort are among the topics to be seen in this very guided tour.
Later take a 30 minutes boat to Prison Island and overnight at Tembo Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 12: Transfer to Zanzibar airport & fly to Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar airport and fly back to Dar Es Salaam to connect your International flight back to Paris
